Warehouse and Dispatch Assoicate 

 

Position Summary and Objective:

The Dispatch and Warehouse Associate is responsible for different functions involving NWA Courier’s daily business and executions. As a DWA, one can be expected to dispatch jobs to our drivers in various markets; along with the completion of warehouse tasks such as but not limited to: part-pulls, will-calls, inbounding, stocking, warehouse upkeep, etc… The DWA holds a crucial position with the company and should display a strong sense of professionalism, dedication and prioritized thinking towards our internal and external personnel.

  • Ability and desire to work independently, yet in a team environment

  • Professionalism through verbal and written channels

  • Able to complete warehousing tasks with little to no supervision

  • Ability to pass a TSA background check and corresponding testing

  • Acknowledgement to the possibility of working odd hours, nights, weekends and holidays

  • Organization and detail oriented

  • Ability to lift 50lbs

Duties and Tasks:

  • Dispatching via telephone and internet

  • Warehousing

    • Inventory

    • Inbounding

    • Shipping

    • Receiving

    • Upkeep and cleanliness of office space

    • Organization

  • Various miscellaneous tasks that may arise in certain circumstances involving, dispatching or warehouse needs
